Dr. Christopher McPherson joins
Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute
CINCINNATI–Christopher McPherson, M.D., a neurosurgeon, has joined the Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute. He serves an expanding market for Mayfield with offices in Western Hills and West Chester, Ohio.
Dr. McPherson treats a wide range of neurological conditions and diseases.
In addition to performing general neurosurgery, he specializes in the surgical treatment of cranial and spinal tumors and in non-invasive stereotactic radiosurgery. He is also an active researcher.
In addition to seeing and treating patients, Dr. McPherson serves as assistant professor of neurosurgery at the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Medicine and is affiliated with The Neuroscience Institute. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), AANS/CNS Section on Tumors, and the Mayfield Society. He is board-eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. McPherson received his medical degree from the University of Kansas in 1998, completed his residency in neurosurgery at UC and the Mayfield Clinic in 2004, and completed a fellowship in neuro-oncologic surgery at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in 2005.
