Dr. Philip Theodosopoulos joins Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute

CINCINNATI - Philip Theodosopoulos, MD, is the newest neurosurgeon to join the Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

Dr. Theodosopoulos recently completed cerebrovascular and skull base surgery fellowships at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard University. A 2002 graduate of the University of California San Francisco neurosurgery residency program, he received his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine in 1996.

Dr. Theodosopoulos, whose office is located at 222 Piedmont Avenue, Suite 3100, will treat patient who have a broad range of neurological illnesses. In addition to general neurosurgery, he has a special focus on diseases affecting the skull base, including meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, dural arteriovenous fistulas and aneurysms.

Dr. Theodosopoulos will serve as Director, Division of Skull Base Surgery, and Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery. He has admitting privileges at most major hospitals in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological

Surgeons (CNS), AANS/CNS Section on Tumors, AANS/CNS Section on Neurotrauma and Critical Care, and American Medical Association. He is board eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.
