The Mayfield Clinic of Cincinnati, Ohio, has treated hundreds of thousands of patients since its establishment in 1937 by Frank H. Mayfield, MD. The Mayfield Spine Institute is the largest and most experienced network of spine specialists in the Midwest. Our interdisciplinary team includes board certified specialists in neurosurgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation, as well as licensed professionals in physical therapy.
Mayfield Physical Therapy officially opened for business on October 2015. The incorporation of PT into our services helps us meet several objectives, including the fulfillment of our mission, which is to provide the best neurosurgical care for our patients. In addition, Mayfield has a core Physical Therapy Network. Members of the network are required to comply with stringent guidelines regarding the therapy of our brain and spine patients.
The Mayfield Chiari Center offers expert diagnosis and treatment of adult and adolescent patients with Chiari malformation and syringomyelia. Our caring, multidisciplinary team is supported by several superb hospitals in the Greater Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area, and we are a destination for regional, national and international referrals.
Located in the Mayfield Clinic office in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, the Mayfield Imaging Center features state-of-the-art magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology, which provides the most advanced, high-field images possible.
The Mayfield Education & Research Foundation is an independent, 501c3 not-for-profit organization that exists to advance the care of patients with brain and spine disorders through leading-edge education and research. Founded in 1978 to commemorate the retirement of Dr. Frank H. Mayfield, the foundation supports and sustains his legacy by promoting leading edge research and development alongside accessible, relevant education for physicians, patients and their families, and the community at large.
A partnership of the Mayfield Clinic and University Radiation Oncology, Precision Radiotherapy is the region’s first center to offer high-precision radiotherapy and radiosurgery for tumors and other abnormalities both inside and outside the brain. The center is located in West Chester, Ohio, just north of Cincinnati.
A partnership of The Christ Hospital, United Surgical Partners International (USPI) and the Mayfield Clinic, the Spine Surgery Center offers same-day surgery and procedures for patients whose spine problems can be treated without an overnight stay. The state-ofthe-art center supports three operating rooms and a pain procedure suite in a comfortable, patient-focused environment.
