Mayfield’s appointment scheduling department staff is available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to help patients get the treatment they need quickly and efficiently.

For new patients
As a new Mayfield patient, you will be introduced to our services in three easy steps.

1. Call our Intake Department at 513-221-1100 or 800-325-7787 to complete a medical history interview.

2. Provide recent x-rays, MRI scans, CT scans, or any other related test results. The patient may be asked to deliver that information to one of our offices.

3. Get on the road to recovery. The neurosurgeon reviews the patient’s medical and diagnostic information and provides treatment recommendations. At that time, someone from our staff will contact the patient to discuss the surgeon’s treatment recommendations.

This rapid review, which we call Priority Consult, provides several advantages:

• Urgent medical conditions are quickly identified, and patient care is expedited.
• Patients whose conditions are less urgent often are referred to a rehabilitation physician, physical therapist or chiropractic specialist for evaluation and treatment.
