Dr. Vincent DiNapoli joins Mayfield Clinic

CINCINNATI–The Mayfield Clinic is proud to announce the hiring of Vincent A. DiNapoli, MD, PhD, a neurosurgeon who treats a wide range of diseases and disorders of the brain and spine. Dr. DiNapoli opens his practice in northeastern Cincinnati today.

Dr. DiNapoli has particular expertise in open neurosurgery and endoscopic skull base surgery for malignant and benign disease, including primary and metastatic brain tumors, pituitary tumors and carotid artery disease, and in minimally invasive spine surgery.

His practice is based at Mayfield’s office at the TriHealth Pavilion in Montgomery. He will perform surgery at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health, Bethesda North Hospital, The Christ Hospital Spine Surgery Center, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Dr. DiNapoli earned his doctorate and medical degrees from West Virginia University in the dual MD/PhD Medical Scientist Program. He subsequently completed his residency in neurosurgery with Mayfield and the University of Cincinnati Department of Neurosurgery. He continued his training with a fellowship in neurosurgical oncology and skull base surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Dr. DiNapoli is board eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Society for Neuroscience, and Association for the Advancement of Science.
