Tann Nichols, MD, joins Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute

CINCINNATI – Tann Nichols, MD, a neurosurgeon, has joined the Mayfield Clinic & Spine Institute, providing his expertise to the Northern Kentucky area. He sees patients at Mayfield's office in Crestview Hills, Ky., and performs surgery primarily at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and St. Luke Hospitals. He also has admitting privileges at University Hospital and Christ Hospital.
 
Dr. Nichols treats a wide range of neurological conditions and diseases affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves. He has particular interest in the treatment of spinal disorders, with emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Nichols is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), AOSpine International and the American Medical Association. He is board eligible with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.

Dr. Nichols completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at Case Western Reserve University. He received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Medical Anthropology in 1997 and received his medical degree in 2001. He went on to complete his neurosurgery residency at the University of South Florida.
