We extended our reach in the community in 2009. Through Tiger PAWS (Partners at Work and School), our partnership with South Avondale Elementary School, we adopted several families for the holidays. South Avondale School serves over 700 students in grades pre-K through 8 in the Avondale community.

In 2008 the Mayfield Clinic proudly established its support of South Avondale Elementary School through a new program called Tiger PAWS (Partners at Work & School). Tiger PAWS is facilitated by the corporate Partners in Education program of the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative (CYC). The CYC seeks to reduce dropout rates in the Cincinnati Public Schools while helping every youth in Cincinnati realize his or her potential.

Members of the Mayfield Clinic family are encouraged to participate in this important and rewarding effort. Through our partnership with South Avondale, which has over 600 students in grades K through 8, we assist with tutoring, special collections and fund-raising.
